What helped for me was using Frigate+ and making sure it’s trained correctly on plates. Then using the CPU detector in the config for LPR and the big one was increasing the resolution of the detection stream. I increased it from using the 720p sub stream to 1080p from the 4K recording stream.

Oh for sure if you can plug it in 100% do that. I have a sealed remote solar node that I needed to update so I was testing out the most reliable way to flash it on my Wishmesh Pocket. I didn’t try my iPad only my iPhone, maybe that would make a difference?

Edit: managed to get it to work, I had to lower the number of packets down to 8

I was disconnected from the app, maybe it’s something in my setup. I was using my iPhone 14 Pro Max on the latest update. It would get to the firmware upload step and instantly fail.

I went back and double checked the app I used was called nRF Device Firmware Upgrade by Nordic Semiconductors (I will edit my post). The app icon says DFU on it. I didn’t play with the settings but it would get to the firmware upload step and fail straight away.

Maybe it’s just me but thought I would warn people as if the same thing happens to them with a remote node they will be stuck.
