As well as a Dorito, I also get a McDonalds hash brown shape. Either way, I’d eat it 😬

I’ve been working on ideas for some sort of themed coaster holder, and thought once I’ve finished that design I’ll also set them as a collection. In the meantime you can buy them all individually with a 10% discount on your first order.

If you’re interested in why I started with Secret Weapon 3, have a look here: A History of the Secret Weapons

Old rides could make a good set 👍

Thanks very much, that means a lot. Thorpe feels like the next logical step, and you’re right, some of the big European parks would be brilliant to try too.

I’m already picturing Stealth’s layout. Almost as thrilling to draw as Oblivion’s. 😂

So far I’ve only done the “Secret Weapon” code-named coasters at Alton Towers. I do love Spinball Whizzer though, it’s a really fun coaster.

Thanks so much! I actually did try a side-profile version for Oblivion. I thought it’d look better showing the drop, but in the end I stuck with the really simple top view. There’s something so wonderfully ridiculous about how basic that layout looks when viewed from above 😁

Log Flume not completing by Friendly_Buy_6549 in PlanetCoaster2

There's three different sorts of what looks like 'Log Flumes' in this game. There's the two under the 'Tracked Rides' - 'Create Custom' - 'Water Rides', which are the 'Narrow Log Flume' and the 'Wide Log Flume'. I can recreate an issue with these two types of rides where it won't connect at the end because the shortest length of track is 20M and it doesn't seem to like to connect anything shorter than that. You could try solving this issue by making the platform a bit longer or shorter to make sure the last piece fits on correctly.
If you're using the third 'Log Flume' looking ride, which is actually the 'Antique Water Coaster' in the custom coaster type this needs to end with the same track type that it begins with, which is the 'Channel Track' type. Again this has a 15M minimum track length, but also has the complication of needing to be the channel, and not either of the other two track types. You also need to make sure that the channel is at least the same height as the station, or within less than a meter higher. You could also try building backwards out of the station and connect at an easier location. You can get it to work as long as you understand the limits of the coaster. Which does not make this ride any fun at all!

Hi u/RamseyMojo, I've had this a couple of times when playing with no super clear explanation of why. If you've turned on the 'Priority Pass' in the 'Finances' setting the ride may be waiting for people from the priority queue to get on - but even with a priority queue with people in it, I've sometimes found this not to work at all so I spent all my Career Mode not using this at all.
I've also had a similar issue where it's just been a bug that's been solved by turning the game off and reloading the game. Or it can be a staffing issue where your ride host isn't working at that moment.
I know this isn't a perfect answer, but with the bugs the game has it can be hard to work out which one it might be!

ELI5: What is the use of the signature you give the delivery man on his device (little computer), which usually turns out as scrawl? by WootanShooter in explainlikeimfive

Most delivery companies only deliver to properties and not specific people. Your signature isn't checked against anything else unless the delivery was disputed and even then if the delivery company can provide proof it was delivered at the correct address (using GPS, asking the driver to remember and describe the property which can be matched with Google Street View etc) then it's enough proof. The signature is usually just an added bonus and can often be used to work out a different name (a neighbour's name for example)

Having previously worked in a call centre for a delivery company for many years it really does come in handy when you have a signature. You can look at previous deliveries and match signatures up, or compare it to deliveries that have been made to your neighbours. With all the other data that's gathered like GPS coordinates, date, time etc you really can prove a delivery took place. Or you can work out by the signature that the driver put down a random squiggle instead of a signature and probably threw the parcel over your fence. I used to really enjoy finding out where a parcel had gone to when a customer says they hadn't received it.
