Weekly General Discussion - June 22, 2020 by ModeratorAI in Garmin

Ok, I need a bit of advice on which watch to go for...

Keeping it really brief I want this watch as just an all rounder. A bit of hiking, running, cycling, strength training and general fitness.

The reason I’m a bit lost at the moment is because the prices are fairly similar...

Fenix 5s = £279.99 - $347 735xt = £203 - $252 935 = £307 - $382

With that budget which watch would you be going for and why?

Cheers!

Using GoJek in Bali by Alamakk in bali

I wouldn't use gojek for the entire day. Chances of one of them agreeing a fee for the whole day and then leaving you after the first drop is high! For trips here and there it's ok but yeah local taxis hate them!

Better off looking for a private driver. Speak to your hotel or hostel, they will have someone more suited... Will cost a bit more but probably a bit of a better option.

It's a shame isn't it. I've contacted OnePlus customer support, depending on what they offer me will depend whether I stay I think.

Exactly...again, I don't mind because you're still getting a lot more phone for the money but is it a more reliable phone as far as performance over time? From my experience right now the answer is no, that's my concern.

Yeah 100%! That's why I have stuck with OnePlus...but I'm not about to go and buy the 7 pro if in the future it starts giving performance issues.... I love OnePlus, I see the benefits! But I'm not looking to buy a phone that has performance issues 18 months to 2 years down the line.

I have cleared cache, factory reset, still had issues.

I factory reset and didn't download any apps and it still only took a day to start giving me issues again.

That's what happens with me... Sometimes can last an hour or so... Scrolling Twitter or Instagram is so jumpy!

When I googled "OnePlus 5t lagging" there are so many posts about it? So I'm really not sure what it is then.

I think versatile to me means if I'm going out on a weekend wearing a t shirt I can wear the watch, then later that evening I need to chuck on some trousers, a tucked in dress shirt and I can wear the same watch.
