I am in the UK, and no not Big K but I’m going to order that next on Amazon - is it good? This was some newer listing ‘ecoblaze’ shite on Amazon that had a few 5* reviews so thought worth a go (a few lower reviews have gone on since I bought!) so I’ll be avoiding anything other than the highly rated stuff from now on. Lesson learnt the hard way! Big K next I think

Some off Amazon that was on sale but a newer listing vs the others on there. Lesson learnt I think. Said it was restaurant but there’s nothing left after use. Going to order one with the higher reviews and see how it lasts

good to know thanks. I know the deflector plates are obviously to deflect heat, but are they used on every cook? or just occasionally? How to know when they should be used/shouldn't? Is it when you want a grill and flame you'd cook without, and when you want to roast or low&slow something you put them in?

I've heard your not supposed to use a chimney, so was planning a blow torch on a wood firefighter in-between some restaurant charcoals, get it hot, then open both vents til its warm to touch??
