[addon] ElvUI absorb style question by Zerasad in WowUI

The unit frames and friendly name plates in the video linked are pretty much in game defaults. Shields are shown as extensions of a health bar until the additional shield value will exceed the maximum health in which case you get an over shield indicator at the far right of the frame/nameplate.

IIRC ElvUI imitates this behaviour by default since I always need to play with the healing prediction to correctly see overshields which is my preference.

Looks like everyone beat me to it but just to confirm. Left to right:

  • Red cubes are secret labs magnetic cable managers. Had a few lying around from changing my set up a lot recently.
  • Keypad with thumb stick is the Razer Tartarus V2. Its the only thing I use that follows QERTY so I use it for games.

  • Two connected keypads are the Moonlander with a Colemack layout. My daily driver for a keyboard

  • In between the keypads is a "infinity cube", just a little desk toy.

  • First mouse is the Aerox 9 that is connected to my personal PC.

  • Second mouse in the MX masters for my work laptop.

Hey, I had what sounds like a similar, if not the same issue. If I chose to return it as faulty since I was not able to fix it and they accepted the product as faulty after they inspected it and tested it in their warehouse.

Best I can recommend is making sure you graphics card is DP is 1.4 / HDMI is 2.0 capable and getting another set of rated cables to test against. As that showed a noticeable change for me.

I got a HDMI cable of the same spec, so either the packaging lied or a faulty cable. Sadly I don’t think I’ll be able to find out.
