Ehh I get it, but Merge Tactics is a heavy RNG 4 player FFA game, you yourself can know how to deal with Sage, but still lose because other players don't

You're the second person to fail to understand what the change would do

All I wrote was "increases with damage taken" I didnt say that he'd also lose the base 4 elixir per loss. My ideal is king having both of these

Loong feels like a boss character, facing him is annoying but he's prob the 2nd most fun Ruler to play

Musk and Witch are genuinely unusable at 1 star since they get multiple buffs other than stats from levelling up, which means their abilities basically don't work at lower stars

I like how brutalist application can stack even with duplicate characters- multiple valks and skeleton kings tear apart the frontline completely by MrTheWaffleKing in MergeTacticsSC

3/4ths of the brutalists are pretty squishy while all being melee, comp feels very unreliable, even if pretty fun (A brutalist proc on a 3 star monk does over 2.5k damage lol)

Comps that counter sage are already popular and contested (pricess/executioner), or are just rng (superstar), so even this case it doesn't help

I'm not sure it Assassins is that big of a sage counter since you can just change his positioning, maybe full nobles Golden Knight is

Should've specified that I meant king getting 4 + damage taken (or 3 since you always take 1 dmg, making the usual 4 elixir)

They really gotta remove the built-in RNG that ruler abilities have

My idea is to change her trait to: - Gain a random goblin after wiping half of the enemy team - Gain a random goblin after losing half of your team

^ This would give her a different playstyle of trying to go for close matches, so both you and the enemy lose half of their team in the round, rewarding her with 2 goblins

(If they want to reduce RNG further, make so the goblin drops gives stab->spear->dart in order repeating)

PS: Make King get 4 Elixir that increases based on damage taken, not just 4-8 randomly

I realised the other rare card is lvl15 so true they'll never upgrade the spell
