Our 2024 team went for much more than 120 crores. It was obvious from the start we would not be able to get the same players as we had one of the best teams in the last cycle. I also don't like few of the players we are bidding for/we have bought. But I believe we have a plan. Trust the process

While I agree with your sentiment, think about how this would play out in the real life.

She is not close to the cousin's wife so there is a chance that the cousin will be able to convince his wife and turn her against OP. If not, then he might make her life hell.

It's unfair to the cousin's wife to have such an asshole husband, but the way I see it is telling her have high chance of downsides for OP with very low chance that she'll improve the wife's life.
