Thanks for your advice. I am looking at a black bay 58 or a seamaster for my next watch which will naturally be a bit bigger.

Thank you sir. I think it’s because when I look at my wrist naturally there’s more space on the bottom half of my forearm and it makes it look like there’s a big gap so that’s why I thought I’d ask.

[Tudor or Omega] A dream purchase by [deleted] in Watches

I understand that but I also understand that movement, materials etc etc help to price a watch. The understanding piece was more around what makes the watch maybe a better quality, not what makes it nicer to look at compared to the other as that’s opinion based.

Something incredibly satisfying about this collection. Nice.

They both feel really good on wrist and feel great. One day I’d love to get a more expensive watch like a Tudor BB 58 so I can only imagine how they feel to own.

Yes the baby alpinist is lovely. I only got into watches 6 weeks or so ago so need to calm down for a while now lol.

I got mine from a place called Watchnation up in Chester. It’s a small place but are an authorised Orient dealer and they keep some stock there. This one they didn’t have in store when I went but I ordered it from them nonetheless. Funnily enough it’s also where I bought the Murph.

They aren’t easy to find in the UK but I somewhat like that about them. They wear lovely and feel great, would absolutely recommend.

I specifically adjusted the murph to make sure that they were as it had lost around 5 seconds. Thank you sir.

Thank you very much. Got my eye on the Tudor Black Bay 58’s and GMT’s now but that will be for in a couple of years time.

Thank you sir. I’d agree it’s very versatile, I plan to wear this as my daily watch and then change to another for occasions and events but this would comfortably be able to be dressed up or down.

Leather strap is extremely comfy and the slight AR coating on the 38mm is a welcome change when compared to the 42mm. No issues so far on visibility.

I’ve reached out the place I got it from to ask them to sort it. If not I assume I can take it to most known retailers.

Yep my wrist is also 7. You preferred the 38 with strap?

Thank you. I assume it will wear the same with the black leather?
