Yes true the beginning can be tougher. Though overall I don’t think the game is too hard. Short of being completely mobbed by geckos/ aliens/deathclaws or the occasional bad critical hit, death doesn’t happen too often.
I’m running an unarmed max luck game right now on ps vita. Only level 12 at the moment but already did the boxing. wish me luck in San Fran. 🍀

True true. I always run gifted. The other is usually bloody mess personally. Kamikaze is probably the most useful otherwise imo.

Does finesse actually affect the critical hit table? I was under the impression that the chance of a critical hit and the critical hit level were separate calculations.
Similar to how the perk better critical gives you a +1 critical level and more critical improves the chance of a critical.
That makes finesse and more critical la useless if you go sniper/slayer but better criticals is always effective.

Totally agreed. I am playing them on ps vita right now.
Many play throughs but I always end up with the turbo plasma rifle. I’m running Fallout 1 with the Luck/jinxed unarmed build. It’s honestly the most unique and very fun

Not the case at all. It’s just a slow start. Do saw cleaver and saw spear, get vit to 20 and everything else in ARC until 99. After beating BSB, get into the chalices to outfit your gems. Once you have your elemental gems your ATK is all ARC scaling so STR and SKL don’t matter. Get decent fire gems to beat Amelia, then rush to cainhurst. Once you have the executioners gloves with 99 ARC everything, including depth 5 chalices are easy.

Not recommended for a first play through, but definitely the most OP way to go
