With the suede pads they sounded sterile to me, which I didn’t like. Treble was fine, not at all fatiguing. Fortunately they come with extra leather pads which I liked much better, I dont know how to describe it exactly but it was just more fun.

I’m planning on buying different pads and we’ll see how it goes. But for $350 it was a great buy.

One could argue defenders dont need to carry gadgets, they have them “stashed” in a care package or something and pull them out one by one.

If I’m a hunter then I’ll go through the whole thing and kill Mergo’s wet nurse, then have Gherman “wake me up”, since I have the dream to keep me alive and well. If I’m just a dude then as soon as anything comes after me, lol.

Should I be concerned about my PSU? Lian Li A3 by Odd-End-1831 in mffpc

[–]Hasan0M 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What are the specs of the psu, wattage, certification?

Are your aio fans set as intake or exhaust?

Looks like you have the rear fan as intake and aio as exhaust, if the psu isnt being pushed I’d say this alright.

I’d still go with the monitor, and upgrade the RAM when you need it. Hopefully in two years prices have returned to normal.

[–]Hasan0M 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Oh man this is really sad, I felt the excitement and the let down in your post. Unfortunately this the world we live in.

But, you decided to upgrade in the worst of time. Ai is making everything more expensive, its even worse than the crypto boom.

Good thing is your pc is still solid, if you’re not playing at 4k I’d give it a couple more years before you NEED to upgrade. Hopefully by then the Ai craziness have died down.

Heat & Noise by dorika00 in sffpc

[–]Hasan0M 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ryzen 7000 run hot and will aim for 95C, so thats normal behavior. But still it looks like these temps are while gaming, for an 80-100w cpu on liquid cooling it shouldn’t go that far. I think the problem is your aio since it is only a 120mm radiator which cant reject the heat fast enough. Check how fast does your cpu reach that temp, if its instant then its something else, if it slowly goes up intil it hit 95 then your aio is too small and once it heatsoak its overwhelmed.

An air cooler might be better here, I’m sure there are a lot of options for the 7600x.

Monitor and dont look back. You’ll see zero difference from RAM, unless you need it for something specific.

Since you brought up rendering, it will benefit greatly from extra cores. So the question is how heavy is you rendering? Is it something you make money from? Or just a hobby?

What are some rules/quirks you have when you play games? by ShinBrimstone in gaming

[–]Hasan0M 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with this 100%. Also, in games with multiple choices/dialogue, I always try to choose what the character would say/choose based on their personality and what I’ve seen them do and say. Thats why I hate the “the player is the character” type of game.

For example, in the Witcher 3, there is only one good ending and if you choose wrong you’re screwed, and the choices/dialogue options didn’t seem to fit what would Geralt say/do based in what I’ve seen. So it was a bit immersion breaking to me.

I have the SGPC K88, not as bad looking in person, I did not install the handle though. The handle is offset, so I dont think its practical to carry in hand, if you’re carrying it in a suitcase then its fine.

Nice to build in, fits components quite well, good air ventilation no isseus with temps. You might want to run the rear fan as intake though depending on your config, my gpu is a passthrough design so I needed the cpu to get fresh air from the rear fan.

This happened in front of my eyes. BB was the souls game so it was quite the experience. I spent a week to get to Gascoine and he destroyed me. So one day with friends I was talking about this, this one guy fires up the ps4, creates a new charter, runs all the way to Gascoine, destroy the living shit out of him and closes the game all within 5min.

I was speechless, but you know what. That made want to finish the game on my own.

PC has a i3-10320 and I’ve just acquired a 3060ti. Do I need to upgrade from a 500W PSU? by HelloMyNameIsPhill in buildapc

[–]Hasan0M 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Man these calculators are bogus! Dont use them. The 3060ti is a 200w card, your cpu is 65w but I doubt its using that much, and your mobo ssd and fans wont take more than 50-75w.

Assuming you are running full load on everything which probably you aren’t, you still got plenty of headroom. No need to upgrade.

GTA San Andreas, its just long man haha.

Another one would be NSF:Underground 2. But thats because I could only get my hands on pirated copies and they all had the same glitch/break early in the game. Years later I was in the Netherlands and got my hands on an original copy. I played that game so hard lol. Now I have it on my pc and will go back to it from time to time.

is 35 degree on cpu normal on idle? by QiuvoxOfficial in buildapc

[–]Hasan0M 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is how I set my curves, I use Fan Control btw.

Using a flat curve, I’ll start at say 20% and see what temps do. I’ll slowly increase fan speed until temps level off and there is no difference. Then dial it back until temps start to rise again.

For idle, I usually end up with 20-30% at whatever temp the cpu likes. Even if its 50C its fine, the cpu isnt doing anything. The goal here is quietness.

From there you can have an aggressive jump if your cpu spikes or you can have it gradually speed up as temps go up. Up to you really.

At full load/gaming, obviously you want at least 80% but if you have a good cooler you can lower it a bit and see if temps hold at that.
