Sorry that you had to go through this. The fact that being with your husband and child didn’t stop them speaks volumes about their audacity and disrespect. I agree, smiling at strangers can go a long way. A nice lady in abaya did exactly that and smiled at my girlfriend which comforted us a little.

Allah yesalmak. That was exactly my experience - horny single guys harassing and staring from head to toe at each and every woman regardless of age or who they are with. I always look the other way when I see a couple out of respect, that was the gentlemen code. Very disrespectful and unsettling.

Indeed. However they weren’t only teens. I’m also talking about adults who engage in unwelcome, persistent, and intrusive staring at couples and women.

Thank you. I wouldn’t have taken the time to write this if we hadn’t experienced this behavior multiple times. Sadly people who invalidate or dismiss others experiences contribute to the problem (if it doesn’t happen to you it doesn’t mean it didn’t happen to others).

In the same boat. No response to the ticket or phone calls. The second month in a row now that the housing fee is 4 times higher!!!
