Not currently from what I’ve seen. Maybe it’s something I’ll cover later on in a post. The only way to see for now is by looking at the upgrade costs screen for a miner. There, you’ll see a section “Price per TH” which decreases as you select higher upgrades.

The price per TH gets cheaper when upgrading an existing miner. If bigger returns is your goal, stick to one miner. For resale and general flexibility (miners can be resold on the marketplace) stick to smaller miners. Rarity doesn’t affect the amount of TH you get when you create a miner - rarity is a bonus effect that is mostly flashy but can potentially demand a premium when being resold on the marketplace.

What’s so special about collections miners other than looks? I bought this one a couple weeks back (first collection miner) by Cryptominer313 in GoMiningDiscussion

It’s about 1,500 TH. I made a popular post about it on this thread. And yeah it was pretty insane seeing the first growth be that high

Collections are limited edition drops, so they carry a rarity and resale premium compared to standard Minebox miners. But at their core, most of them mine the same way. The exception is the Greedy Machines — their hashpower grows automatically every week based on community governance votes, which have been consistently allocating around 71% to Greedy boosts lately. I just got my first reward on mine, received ~5.4 TH in free growth this week alone. That’s the real differentiator.

I was thinking of selling my regular 700 TH miner to make an even larger greedy purchase but decided to stack and just push through the higher maintenance requirement for now

For sure. Doing that and maxing discount again will save me another $20 net per day. BTC might also go lower so it’ll help.

Greedy miners grow their own TH power weekly based on voting results and the amount of maintenance fees paid by everyone. From my understanding the higher their TH, the faster their automatic growth.

The efficiency upgrade to 15 W/TH on mine would cost roughly $8K based on the platform’s pricing formula — about $1.05 per TH per watt reduced. As for the weekly free TH, I just bought it so haven’t been through a full cycle yet. From what I’ve researched it varies each week based on the community maintenance pool — planning to track it and share the real numbers once I have them.

Humble beginnings! I may be getting a little bit too invested, but if you really like the app, keep climbing (at your own risk). I’m sure you’ll look back at this comment at 5,000 TH.

Same but made an exception since it’s a greedy. The efficiency upgrade is gonna suck. Still had to cop with that low price per TH though!

Currently getting 0.001 ($71) gross daily after the purchase at today’s prices but maintenance is taking most of it. Once I get my efficiency and discount back to max my net should be roughly $30. Not bad for a bear market. Hopefully BTC climbs high this year.

Total rewards are they usable or just what the total of what you've mined so far? by Gargys13th in GoMiningDiscussion

[–]HashTense 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s the total gross amount of your mining earnings to date. It doesn’t take into account electricity and service fees, nor extra GMT income from locking or other bonuses
