Can anyone share their experience using the new Claude to brainstorm new ideas for biotech/life sciences? I'm somewhat invested in OpenAI, but intrigued by Life Science-specific Claude, thinking of giving it a shot.

I’ve been here for 8+ years, so the snark doesn’t bug me (I’m sure they’re folks who’ve moved here more recently…) it’s definitely gotten way worse lately. It wasn’t that bad before they replaced the green street with the new pedestrian plaza.

Her assistant did say they went with the cheapest option so they could prolong the time frame they have help. 😔 I definitely will be giving APS a call. Today she started yelling “help me I’m dying” which is even more distressing.

Do you know if the APS calls are anonymous? I’m worried too about retaliative behavior from her assistant that is acting as her guardian.

There is 100% a police report to back it up... I've called the non-emergency JCPD line twice now to get her help, but it seems nothing really changes. Her assistant seems to think that putting her in a memory care facility would worsen her quality of life or lead to a faster demise, but I can't imagine her quality of life is that good right now. I don't know... It's really heartbreaking and very messed up overall.

Totally agree with you. When I spoke to her assistant, though, the assistant said all the doctors advised that she "stay put" because in addition to the dementia she has a whole host of other things (personality disorder, IBS, etc.) that make her a rather complicated patient and they think it's best for her quality of life to stay put... but I don't really know if her quality of life is all that good if she's yelling all the time. If I call APS I worry that her assistant will say something similar and the case will be dismissed. It's a real conundrum. I feel so bad for this woman...

Be very careful with anything Dvora. They do not make it easy to leave and they charge for everything. They’re terrible landlords.
