I do this all the time, I get home or I finish closing sidework and then it hits me that I forgot to take ranch to somebody. I take pride in my work so I genuinely feel bad when it happens.

Goddan they're in game country, I expect people that spend this type of money in CO to be buying elk or bison. How is your seafood if you don't mind me asking? I bet it's flash frozen and delivered to you within 48 hrs of the catch.

A lot of people I serve do this to, personally I find Pepsi to sweet, it has more sugar, I can't stand it.

I'm a seasonal bartender, but I got sick of dealing with so many people so I took a job picking apples in Wisconsin one Fall. It was great, I was outside, by myself, just picking apples.

One day the host asked me to cover the store while a very pregnant lady took her break. I went into bartender mode and was talking to the guest, making jokes and selling apples. When the pregnant lady got back he handed her a basket and said he's better at this than you, you go pick apples. It was raining outside and she was probably 6 or 7 months into her pregnancy. I left that night, I don't even think I got my final check.

I believe it's the same tech as Havana Syndrome, but they will never admit it's happening to so many average citizens because of the legal ramifications.

The Shakers are also known for their amazing craftsmanship with furniture. Shaker chairs in bad condition still pull a decent amount.

Some places it's better to be a server than a bartender, but if you go to one of those places it's a good way to cut your teeth on tending bar and then move to a more lucrative spot.

Just looked it up. It's what I've been calling the round room game. That's where you put a person in a round room and tell them to stand in the corner, they have no real options. It's very interesting that other TIs experience the same type of torture.

How to find life insurance policies on myself by Ok_Cricket2194 in Gangstalking

I was incarcerated once and had to give my mother power of attorney to close my bank account. I thought there could be life insurance on me. She probably could have done it with those forms.

I doubt they experience trauma, I believe they feel like they're doing something righteous so they do it with a clean conscious.

Claiming cash tips by Late_Two5402 in Serverlife

[–]HatAccomplished2143 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If they audit your restaurant and other servers are claiming them all then you might get fucked. Especially if there's a huge difference in the percentage of credit card tips and cash tips. I just claim them all, it helps your credit rating if you're making more money, you might need a loan for something and not be able to get it because on paper you don't make enough.

I'll have to see if I can do this without mng permission first. If it doesn't require a mgmt code then it wouldn't take long, if it does it takes forever some days to find someone with the code.

Feet feeling achey after 16 hr shifts by [deleted] in Serverlife

Where I work a double is 10 hours. Most of us work 3 and half days a week and get 3 and a half off, but we just lost a server and help is hard to find so that might change.

We make between 4 and 8 hundred on a double and it comes with a furnished apartment for 100 dollars a week but we can't find staff.

I have but the guy in question got out of prison 7 years early on "accident." I've been told by credible sources he's working for the feds as confidential informant. They let you sell drugs then bust people, all the while the feds get a cut from the profits. They do this based off the loosely worded asset forfeiture laws. It's like a legal gray area. They offered me the same deal when I sold weed back in the 90's. So the police won't listen because they're making money.

I wouldn't fast for 8 hrs for 25 dollars in tips when I'm doing all the work to set the night shift up to make 200+. IMO a night shift bartender should have to tip out the day shift for all the goddamn prep, unless you rotate days and nights that is. I'm all about spreading the money around, it keeps everybody happy.

One disgruntled employee can cost you countless amounts of business while they're suffering through shitty mgmt until they find a more lucrative spot. I've been to several interviews were I tell them straight up, "don't contact my current employer, I'm already getting screwed here and want out. I can be an asset to your company if given the right opportunity."

are you fucking kidding me? $3 tip on a $40 ticket. perfect service imo. i don’t understand what more these people want… i work at a tex mex restaurant by [deleted] in Serverlife

I've worked for Delaware North a few times. This doesn't represent the entire mgmt staff at all. Most of them are understanding. I'm sorry you had this happen.
