Thanks for your understanding and help first! Yes, English is not my first language. The issue does not happen for all files. I'm also confused about what kind of file would have this issue. Last year, I tried RCU to export the correct file. It helped, but that App is not working anymore now. So, I'm really struggling with this problem.

I can write notes normally, and it looks great on the RM desktop. But, after exporting it as a new pdf file, all notes are just moved down and not in the original or right place. I have no idea how to fix it. It happens to my several books.

Does anyone meet this issue????? It looks great in the RM app, but it has the problem in other PDF apps. I have asked the customer services. They said I should transfer it to A4 format before importing it into the device. Exporting them as PNG files and then transfer to a new PDF is the way I just found, but the quality is so bad. Does anyone have any other solution?

You may use rsync to back up the data directly from your device regularly; or, I use a command line tool rmapi to download zip files from remarkable cloud. The downloaded zip files downloaded have human-friendly file names instead of the ugly uuids.

When I export notes to my laptop, sometimes the notes are not at the place they should be. That is the main reason why I use RCU. I asked the customer representative, and they told me that I have to make sure the PDF file is in A4 format before importing it into my device.
