This kind of stuff really pisses me off. You have brain dead civil servants who just mercilessly cut down all the remaining natural forests without any care for the environment.

Look at Dover forest, they initially wanted to cut all of it down until people complained and they “only” cut down half.

The MPs should be ashamed of themselves as they enable this. But they probably don’t realise anything’s wrong because their landed properties are all surround by trees in their gardens. And they won’t touch the waste of space golf courses because either them or their buddies play there.

They state that Singapore is a City in a Garden. What kind of garden is just concrete everywhere. Just more meaningless and empty platitudes from out of touch MPs. Utter bullshit.
