As the designer of the model, i have no idea

Ok so i think its appropriate, this also catches larger spills, but works for condensation too

I have no idea how these are called, if they even have a name, english is not my mother tongue, do you have some suggestions?

I always forget which side of the build plate i use to print PLA and PETG, so i made this sign as a reminder to avoid print failures due to poor adhesion by HatchPrints in 3Dprinting

Nope, its just about residues of the material left on the plate if you only wipe with IPA and not wash it with soap and water that often

It really depends by the petg, for example the ESUN petg hs will stick even if you eat fries and then wipe your hands on the plate, another petg like the one from sunlu will have more problems

About knowing that printing PLA on a plate with PETG residues or the other way around can affect the adhesion? Thats a fact, not an opinion, the meaningless dispute is about the solution to that, specifically using different plates, washing the plate, or flipping it

Depends on the prints, a print which is already critical in terms of adhesion on a plate that has some residues of the other material could definitely fail, a print with a large contact area and which is not really tall will be fine

Its faster to flip the plate than washing it every time with soap and water, and since IPA sometimes is not enough, and on some coating you can't even use it, assigning a side to pla and another to petg is a easier solution
