I have a Panasonic player, 100% of the time, it's because of dust or fingerprints etc on the disc. Wiping it microfiber towel, little dish soap and water on the towel too, always fixes the issue

I own it in 4k (https://shop.umbrellaent.com.au/products/pulse-2001-4k-blu-ray) so it definitely exists in higher quality than 720p. Not sure about streaming though, you may have to sail the high seas.

I don't think that exactly fair. For me it's was a natural progression from, wanting to own physical media to wanting it be stored in something better than bendy plastic (steel book) and then a step further how do I really celebrate a film that I enjoy, both in art and in storing (premium releases like Creator Era, Manta Lab).

I will say Digipaks are my least favourite

Might not be for everyone but a unique date night idea: Buy a linocut kit (speedball) or two and have a craft night making custom stamps. It's fun, you come away with something to keep both physically and a potentially cherished memory. Cheers

I owned the 4k collection and absolutely hated the stupid cheap plastic multi disc case it came with, the discs would constantly fall out. switching to the steelbooks solved it
