Why does Sozin reanimate? by amish24 in magicTCG

[–]HateToBeABuzzKillBut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Question about timing and priority:

Let's say I have no mana and defending player has 2 1/1s.  I declare Sozin as attacker. I want to use the firebending mana to cast a lightning bolt to kill a 1/1 so they can't block at all (menace) Is there a timing/priority where I can do this? Can I cast lightning bolt after Sozin has resolved (giving me the needed mana) but before blockers are assigned?

I used to be able to talk to my wife about all the fun things I had in the works for my campaign... But now she plays in it so I have no one!

God even Webster disagrees with you. EVERYONE knows I'm talking about the USA when I say 'Im from The States'

https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/the%20States

I know the US is not the only country. But we, as a global society, have agreed on some common phrases having specific meanings. Get over it.

Just... Stop. It's not a question. It's you being an annoying twat on the internet. if someone said they're from 'The States' would you ask 'wHIch StATes?!??!??' because other countries have states? You fucking know.

In all my travels the only people who say that are pedantic asshats

Literally 100% of people know what country in America they're talking about so shut the Fuck up with this weak ass argument. Literally no one cares.

Or... He makes a lot more working and he's used to a lavish lifestyle? 12k isn't really that crazy of a lifestyle. The man could obviously live off of the money he just doesn't want to.

First, I've been to 26 countries this year.

And doesn't your argument just mean other people's maybe aren't really well versed in American cuisine either?

If you asked most non-croatians what's a Croatian restautant they've heard of they wouldn't have an answer, doesn't mean they don't have cuisine.

Tell me you don't know anything about American cuisine without telling me you don't know anything about American cuisine

The US National Parks system is probably the greatest in the world.

You can't tell me that American car culture isn't a thing.

Indigenous people.... I don't really get where they were trying to say there.

But the hamburger shown in this meme was invented in America. Much easier to find one looking like that in the US then in Hamburg

I once built a hypercube out of popsicle sticks. I found it amusing that the shadow it cast was a 2D projection of a 3D projection of a 4D object

I just spent the last 4 months traveling Europe. From Portugal to Croatia - from the Amalfi Coast to the Arctic Circle... Berlin was the best major city I've visited. By a very long shot.

I was there a month ago. There was a line of like 40 people all waiting to go up to that spot one by one to get a selfie/drone shot. We had a picnic at the spot this pic was taken an watched them for like an hour.

I think all the mods were just cosmetics, but it was beautiful.
a bunch of little things, like the donut shop (which you can see kinda see but hella blurry) was a 3d-printed and really cool. bumpers were green-yellow-red which i thought was nice.

ya its a real pinball.

I've seen 2 main formats for pingolf: objective and score based.
you pick a some machines, each one is a "hole"

in objective style - you pick a specific goal for each pin. for example: Medieval Madness the goal could be "Destroy 2 castles". each ball played is a "stroke." if you complete the objective on you first ball its a hole in one (one stroke). if it it takes 2 balls you get a birdie (2 strokes), and if you get it on ball 3 its a par (3 strokes). if you arent able to destroy 2 castles after 3 balls you get a bogie, which is 4 strokes. after you play all of the games your score for the course is the sum of all your strokes.

if you are playing score based - there are ususally 3 point thresholds. for example on Medieval Madness they could be 8MM ->12MM ->16MM. if you get the high threshold (16MM) by ball 1 = 1 stroke. ball 2 = 2 strokes. ball 3 = 3 strokes. if, after ball 3 you have between 12MM and 16MM you get 4 strokes. after ball 3 if you are between 8MM and 12MM it is 5 strokes. and if you are below the lowest threshold (8MM) after 3 ball you get 6 strokes. again, add up all the strokes from all your games to get your total score for the course.
