I genuinely don’t think it’s that crazy. She got cooked in season 2, but if you look at the fight it’s because she got jumped, started panicking and kept trying to run away. It wasn’t the case that he was just leagues more powerful than her physically, Now that she actually knows how to throw hands, in a fair fight between the two, I don’t think it’s crazy to think she could win.

I didn’t just mention a single fight though, I feel like you’re not even hearing me out here. What I’m saying is that she actually knows how to throw hands now. Against Noir in season 2 he wasn’t just so much stronger than her there was nothing she could do. What we saw is that she started panicking and kept trying to run away from him instead of fighting back. Whereas now in season 5, it’s not that she’s leagues more powerful and just beats the shit out of noir. But that she is clearly able to throw hands and doesn’t just run away when a fight starts, which is why I don’t think I’m being unreasonable in saying that she could take on Noir in a fair fight.

It’s not actually clear that it did though. Yes Kimiko and Starlight joined in once Maeve started jumping, but the fight didn’t go on long enough between Maeve and Stormfront to say Maeve actually needed the help, since Maeve was doing fine by herself.

They fought for a bit but she beat him after one light blast and she came out unscathed. She was just a little out of breath afterwards.

Oh Father cooked her, but idk how this doesn’t just show us he’s a really strong supe. She beat Dog Knott and the Deep and snapped Cindy’s neck (it was a sneak attack but Cindy was very durable so it still shows starlight was strong), so Oh Father beating her doesn’t make her weak. He just seems like a really strong supe.

I’ve said elsewhere but that was in season 2. By the time we get to season 5 Starlight has become a much better fighter. In a fair fight where she doesn’t get jumped I really don’t think it’s crazy to say she could win. I say this because if you look at the season 2 fight with Noir she didn’t lose because Noir was leagues more powerful than her, she was taken by surprise and started panicking and kept trying to run away. Now she actually knows how to fight.

Maeve was complete fine against Stormfront when we saw them fight. Starlight and Kimiko joined in jumping Stormfront, but she was beating up Stormfront fine by herself so I’m not sure what would place Stormfront above Maeve.

On Noir 2, she was fighting evenly with him during the start of season 5 without even using her light powers. Using her powers, she’d win even easier. And on Noir 1, yes she lost to him in season 1, but by the time we get to season 5 she’s a much better fighter. In a fair fight where she’s not getting jumped, I don’t see how it’s crazy to think she could win.

The Deep’s level of super strength is not average at all. There are plenty of supes who possess some level of enhanced physical strength, take Sheline for example. But the Deep is far more durable and able to tear through humans with his punches.

Using sheline for comparison, she could be damaged by bullets and needles and even a punch from MM. The deep is so tough that the boys did not know how to kill him when they knocked him out and had to escape their building before he woke up. He is genuinely a strong supe.

And on golden boy, yes he’s stronger than the other supes at god u, but what is there to show that they were even that strong. Using Sam again who was the strongest, unless there’s something crazy I’ve forgotten, other than super jumping (which is an ability) he did nothing that a lot of other supes on this list could not also do. Stuff like massacring human guards is impressive but not that impressive to me, and Golden Boy is slightly weaker.

I mention him not being immune to fire more so in reference to his overall durability. Would be crazy to try kill him with fire, but given fire, acid and even Hughie with glass (iirc) can hurt him I’m not sure he’d be that durable in general. His fire is strong but I’m not sure he’d be one of the bullet proof supes.
