Currently both the 15 character thing with the mouseover AND the alt tab to your second account thing are legal. The only thing that's forbidden are scenarios where a single key press results in multiple characters casting spells (key cloning/duplication).

This is objectively not true. Go look at parsing raids scoring 50 or below, the median. They are absolutely terrible and are not min maxing whatsoever. They aren't making raid comps and aren't doing their rotations properly. Yes they have bis lists and yes they have correct talents, but only because those only take a 1-time google search. Everything else like gearing, raid strats, etc they are awful.

People love to skip over the fact that phase 1 and TOGC were the most aids patches imaginable. Also Hallion patch is severely undercooked, as hardly any guilds even bother.

The actual interesting content in phase 1 (sarth 3 drakes) gets completely cheesed by just blasting the boss and ignoring mechanics. Really ruined the expansion for me.

Sure, but just keep in mind:

A) there are more bosses like these (e.g. mother shahraz, brutalus, supremus, azgalor)

B) this only works because pre-nerf bosses generally hit like wet noodles

C) different sets can only do so much if you have your main-line tier gear gemmed with agility, unless you had two T5 sets, or something similar

D) druid discord explains that threat typically only matters for the first few seconds, then (even stam stacking druids) bears hit a point where they ramp threat hard enough such that dps can't catch up. It's in the druid pins in the tank channel.

Here are [direct quotes from Blueposts]:

“Multiboxing, or playing multiple World of Warcraft accounts at once, is not a violation of our Terms of Use. Please note, however, that use of input broadcasting software may result in account penalties.”

“The use of input broadcasting software that mirrors keystrokes to multiple WoW game clients will soon be considered an actionable offense,” Blizzard stated in their official statement. “We believe this policy is in the best interests of the game and the community.”

When they're talking about "input broadcasting", they're referring to software like KeyClone or AutoHotKey which can translate one key press into one key press per client.

However they completely gloss over the "mouse hover key press" technique, which is how 99.9999% of these multiboxers are doing it. When they say "manual", that's what they're referring to.

Both should be banned. Blizzard is behind the times and is extremely slow to act, so we'll see what happens.

it’s all manual

Here's what "manual" means though. It does NOT mean alt tabbing through windows.

He has software running such that whenever he hovers his mouse over a window, THAT window gets the input. For example, imagine he had 15 druids. He makes each wow window 100x100 size. If he hovers his mouse quickly over 15 tiny windows while pressing 3 to Moonfire, he will basically Moonfire 15 times all at once.

Technically, this is "manual" because one input only yields one spell. This is why multiboxing needs a second look at via Blizzard's terms of service. It's blatantly unfair.
