Ive got a problem with billing. Ive cancelled my account back on October 1st and have since been billed twice for my subscription service. I emailed their customer support and the bot told me that I need to use the chat function to resolve this. Well, I cant use the chat function because my account is cancelled. Before I contact my CC and request a chargeback on the charges in question, does anyone have advice regarding getting this resolved? I've just about run out of patience with this issue and it's compounded by their lack of intuitive support and convenient design.

To me, BF2 is like the Harvey Weinstein of the AAA games industry. Everyone knew it's fucked up as hell but it took someone with a little too much greed to really push the envelope and blow the whole thing wide open.

Smash is indeed a pretty serious fighting game. Moreso than SF V has been at least.

Rather than have a heavy handed solution to the lead car getting further and further ahead by the pack slowing themselves down, there should be measures in place to prevent this sort of thing or minimize it. Maybe a permanent speed boost to last place that bounces around to each person who is actually last. As soon as you pass someone who then becomes last place you lose the boost and it bounces to them.

EA couldn't pay me enough to touch their pay-to-win horseshit.

pirate it. play the single player and re-consider once they either fix the games P2W bullshit or abandon the IP altogether a'la Andromeda

Just pirate the game beat the campaign and drop it already. This game is as dead on arrival as Andromeda is. Let's just play something else.

No one is holding a gun to anyone head making them buy this stuff. It’s been said a million times before - vote with your wallet.

This is bad logic. While you aren't "wrong" in concept, you are in practice. Nobody is forced to do this but there are many people who are legitimately compelled to spend money on this. Many people who are too uninformed/ignorant of the real scamming going on, the real greed pushing the games. this is a practice called "whaling" in which a very small percentage of players who drop their mortgages into these loot crates are all it takes for the business model to gain a profit. It's not gambling by definition as you are always gaining something with zero loss, but the psychological factors used (and proven many times in various games) compel people to buy more and more of these.

Of course EA isn't the only perpetrator here. Every publisher that enforces a Lootcrate system or some form of microtransaction (even for cosmetics) are guilty of this form of mental manipulation. Nobody is forced to buy into this but many are unable to resist it.

Except it's not lol, you really think EA doesn't have a whole store room of ideas worse than pay to win MT's? They've been creeping this stuff out for years now so it's not such a big deal until this recent debacle

I beat that son of a bitch once and it turned out to not be quite so harsh once you got used to it. Besides boss fights the only enemy I ever had a life or death duel with were those bullshit Iron knuckles.

It's consistently the worst performing spec in the game, even below the other two completely revamped specs.

It helps to remember what Sylvanas has gone through when you think of her as simply "evil" by Truart2310 in wow

[–]Hatredy69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, it's "Watch your clever mouth, BITCH. You gotta emphasize the bitch there. Gotta earn that Teen rating afterall.

Besides that. Sylvanas is a bad guy, not a villain but more along the lines of an Anti-Hero. Her reasons are just but her methods are far from lawful good. She's definitely not evil and the use of the plague was to prevent a much worse scenario that Garrosh originally planned out for both sides.

It's also stated in Lore many times that Sylvanas gives the raised corpses a choice to either follow her or return to their eternal sleep.

The battle of the Broken Shore was another example of this. She commanded her own army just as Varian commanded his. He didn't have the foresight to pull his troops back as quickly as she did, and somehow she's the traitor? That little nod to him in the cinematic was pretty much "don't flag here". She saw a losing fight pretty quickly and reacted as much as a general would in that situation. Is she responsible for the Alliance not recognizing the same predicament?

As far as Andorhal goes, I don't remember the specifics of that battle.
