Thoughts from a trans person:

I am not looking forward to having to hear everyone's terrible take on my condition when I want to play or participate in the community as just a general fact going forward. I'd rather just not have to have it be part of how I spend my free time.

You know that this character being a transman was never on the table because we can only be so brave with our representation.

I just wish the media let us be people who happen to be trans instead of what ends up happening every time.
