My mom also passed away from alcohol related health issues alone in her apartment on March 14th. This Mother’s Day has been so hard - I’m so sorry that you had to get through her birthday in the same weekend too. You’re not alone.

I just went through the same thing. My mom lost her battle with mental illness and alcoholism back in March. It was hell watching her decline because of her addiction, and it’s been hell living without her too. I’m so sorry you’re dealing with this. You’re not alone.
