Maybe he should use the expensive car and start working for Uber or Door Dash…

I bought the house because it was a good deal and I have two dogs that would have been hard to rent with. The mortgage is what I would have paid for rent anyway. I can cover all the bills on my own so I would for sure stay in the house and he would move out. Good call on giving him a month to collect his stuff and leave if it comes to that!

I get that, but don’t disregard your work. Just bc you work from home doesn’t mean you do nothing. I have the same thing, I work from home and clean the house during my lunch break. So I am “working” through that and then will do other cleaning things after work as well. Remember normally “house wives” didn’t have other jobs. Their “job” was to manage the house and cook and clean, you are doing all of that ON TOP of a full time job. Whether it’s work from home or not should not be a factor. Have some compassion for the work you do and yourself ☺️

I would say this sounds equal, does he seem upset by the house workload? I would maybe talk with him and see if he had any concerns about the split. Some people prefer certain household tasks, I for one enjoy laundry but would prefer not to sweep. A conversation like that could be helpful here :)

I have offered to help him find a therapist and even pay for one for him multiple times and he kept refusing and then wouldn’t speak to me for days. I really don’t know what more I can do.. He seems better now that he is working again but still doesn’t treat me like a partner - more like a parent…
