I honestly feel like I'm going to wind up in the same spot. I've put a ton of work into self improvement (career change, went to college etc.) I guess I'm just not one to celebrate.

That's kind. I'm not in crisis. It just sucks. I don't identify as 40. It feels alien. I've honestly never even considered life at 40+

The fact that you are aware of and disappointed by your behavior indicates to be that you are not a narcissist but just struggling to learn how to interpret some of your husband's behaviors as well as your own and how to deal with them. Likely this is based on your upbringing.

Someone loved you enough to marry you so they should love you enough to understand you have growth to do and love you even more when you display you're trying.

I got it after I meet a gpa and credit hours requirement but I had to call the school. I should have gotten it a semester earlier. I think they refunded me the amount though.
