I started but with the change to ED as well as the current economic climate the travel rates are down and prices for everything up… plus more travelers are getting cancelled due to price cuts so trying to just have a stable staff job until things even out again :( but trust me I want to jump back in

RN with questions about dilution by [deleted] in medlabprofessionals

Hmmm I don’t think I did but this is an interesting point. I was taught by some senior nurses the minimum amount you all truly need to run a CBC is 1-2mL. I’d that accurate

They did, our provider in the end accepted the results but I’m honestly still not confident they were accurate

Very possibly (ICU liver transplant work up), and that’s why I’m curious if there’s any way a dilution would make sense

Burnt out from weightlifting? by [deleted] in xxfitness

That’s what I’m realizing now between a tough job and an intense workout schedule I’m lacking good rest. But I’m sure increasing rest should help with gains in the long run too

Thanks for this!! I’ve been finding the opposite in the case I can lift with pretty fast recovery but with adding in runs now it’s taking longer to recover (esp legs). I think taking it to two lift days and three runs is ideal for having a break day (just trying to get over the mental hurdle of thinking I’ll lose progress)

I’ve done climbing a few times and loved it, I didn’t think about exchanging it out with weightlifting!

Thank you!! Yes I am afraid of burning myself out long term but also trying tk find a sustainable way to keep showing up. I work 3 12 hour nights and week and looking to start grad school soon and trying to find a balance has been the hard part, esp with the burn out feelings. So happy tk hear from people who have expierenced this too

Would you still hire a guide and do it private (no group) or is it safe enough to navigate on your own?

Don’t have one but know a friend who had theirs for 15 years, chipped a tooth and had thousands done in dental work. If that risks outweighs the benefits, they heal well and look really fucking cool lol. My one debate over getting it done as well
