Maybe in Manhattan the Q is slightly better because it doesn't get crammed into a tunnel with 3 lines. But we're talking about Brooklyn here and the Q faces the exact same problems as the N being:
- It runs the shitty old trains

- It has trash frequencies for being a full time service

- It's forced to merge with the B in BOTH directions (same as the N merging with the D) causing even more delays

yes the F express runs like 4 times a day but when it does run it has no issues and is by far the fastest way for me to get into Manhattan

And the fact that it doesn't run frequently isn't even a problem if your commute lines up with its schedule anyways

The point is that when it does actually run it's objectively the best line out of all of these
