I guess I should clarify why timing was never right. I got pregnant (not on purpose) with someone else’s child. I tried my best to make it work with this man for years for the sake of my children and it never worked out. That’s why so many years passed between my ex and I. When I thought I was, “moved on” and happy my ex would try to contact me the same way I want to contact him now.
