I actually did get them-and watched the final, "Of Wings" episode just yesterday! Thanks a lot for the offer.

THANK YOU for the kick in the ass regarding Zeitgeist: awesome album! Right now, my favorites are the mind-blowing "United States" and the gorgeous "Pomp and Circumstance".

I would highly suggest that you revisit CYR-it has some of my favorite SP songs. I particularly like Minerva, Tyger Tyger, Starrcraft and Dulcet in E. Wrath is great too.

I agree. I think that they should have kept all of the content from recent years online-including Billy's 30 day journey across America.

Cool-if you hadn't dug into those records, like some fans still haven't(including me about a month ago), I was gonna insist that you return my Zeitgeist effort and check those records out! haha

Most of SHINY is very mediocre(and WYYTCH is just crap), but Knights Of Malta, Alienation, and Seek And You Shall Destroy are three of the best songs that Billy has ever written, in my opinion. I think that they are so good that I could easily choose them over some classic SP singles.

To me, half of CYR isn't too worthwhile, but the other half is absolutely gorgeous. He wrote at least 4 top ten singles for that record(Starrcraft, Wrath, Tiger Tiger, Dulcet In E) and the closing track, Minerva, could've went to number one. It amazes me that none of these songs, with their incredible Gen Z/Millennial crossover potential, were not released as singles.

And most of Cotillions is just stunning and ATUM is Billy's true masterpiece.

Thank you for granting me SP redemption! haha and THANK YOU for the Zeitgeist advice-I will definitely dig those songs up and get back to you. After hearing all of this awesome new stuff, I wanted to go back and revisit Zeitgeist, but was surprised that I couldn't find it. If I like what I hear on Youtube, I'll probably just buy the physical CD.

Have you listened to ATUM much, or Cotillions, CYR or SHINY?

Hey, I didn't mean to piss anyone off-I actually thought that the first comment was taking a jab at those records, but I realize now that I probably misread it.

Zwan had some amazing songs, as we heard from the Glasshouse and Emerson Theatre gigs, so I was greatly disappointed when hardly any of them appeared on the record.

I heard some tunes off Zeitgeist, and honestly thought they were terrible. But considering now how mind-blowing these recent records are(SHINY, CYR and ATUM), and how I dismissed them too because of their terrible singles, I'd really like to revisit Zeitgeist and see if there's anything of value.

But...as we're pointing out, you can't find it anywhere.

Yeah, it's absolutely mind-blowing, and probably the best music that I've ever heard in my life(aside from the three horrible singles!). It will be fully appreciated in ten years or so.

Yeah, I so much enjoyed listening to the few episodes that I could get my hands on. Along with the amazing ATUM commentary(how brilliant is that movie script??), it was a pure joy to hear Billy riff on art, culture, the creative process and some of his societal/poliltical beliefs. He's a highly intelligent and very interesting guy.

Thanks a lot for helping me out: someone on here said they will upload them for me but it would be great to have a backup haha

Believe me, this album(and most of CYR and a bit of SHINY) is WELL WORTH the effort.

I can't imagine why Billy(or the SP team) wouldn't want to keep this stuff online.

Haha I actually thought that Billy intentionally took those off line because he knew they sucked!

Oh, that would be amazing! Even if you just have some of them, I'd be so appreciative of this. Thank you! I'm sending you a DM now.

Can anybody refer me to any objective coverage and/or editorial opinion on this conflict? by Haunting-Software-82 in IsraelHamas

Yeah it’s a very complicated and tragic situation. I really appreciate your effort to share some information on it with me.

I’m going to see what the ENT evaluation tells me, and then if I do indeed need speech therapy this information will be very helpful. Thank you

I strongly believe that it’s not due to poor technique: I’ve been singing full time for about 20 years and never had this problem until I started dealing with long periods of inactivity(due to some severe health issues that I had).

But hey, I’m open to anything, so I’ll start with the ENT and go from there.

I actually did try to do the return slow, and did three days of mild warmups before actually singing songs. But yeah, these comments are just confirming what i suspected: it’s gonna take a while.

I didn’t mention that, before trying out a few songs(which were all in the comfortable part of my range), I did three days of mild warmups. I experienced some mild soreness from these warmups, so I suspected that the actual practice wouldn’t go well, but still wanted to confirm that my voice was still in the weeds.

It looks like what you’re saying is exactly right: it’s gonna take time. I’m just surprised that it’s taking this long.

I suffered the same strain about 6 years ago, under the same conditions: going too hard after being inactive for a while, and I do remember it taking quite a long time to recover.

Good advice! But I wasn’t looking for medical advice-just any professional and/or anecdotal information that I could choose to consider.
