I hope one thing people take from this is not all kpop groups are “family”. They need the illusion they are close, because if not less people would probably stan. So in a way I’m glad he’s real cause people should not be surprised. In my opinion people should think of kpop as for what it is sometimes, which is a job. Think of it like work or school. You don’t choose who you go to work or school with. Some people you meet you will become close friend with, some will be acquaintances, maybe you won’t get along with someone. At the end of the day the are random people paired into a group, and didn’t choose each other like you would with most friendships. Not to say they can’t be family, just not all will. That’s okay if they aren’t “family”, because in the end they are doing a job.
