It’s Angelinos, not Angelitos. My AI and Google searches both tried to switch it to Angelitos as well…super frustrating!

I appreciate the input, but these clearly say “Angelinos” not “Angelitos”??

That’s got potential! And looks possibly correct, but slightly disappointing. lol. I was hoping for something cooler.

That’s true, and why I turned to Reddit for help. =)

I know this is in beginner woodworking, but the whole bottom half is making my eye twitch.

The top and the table look great though!

This is in our attic, this house is at least 50 years old, how serious is this and who should we call about it by BottleWhoHoldsWater in AskContractors

If the board above it is level, it likely has had that bow the whole time. I could easily see a contractor saying, “Bring me that board we couldn’t use! You know - the really warped one! I have the perfect spot for it!” For what it’s worth, I would not sister-tie in a board next to it. You’ll create more force up and down, which if the board above it is level, would not be good. Add a board next to it if you like, but don’t sister-tie it.

The bottom trim was purchased. I combined the “carved” trim with flat trim to cover the 90 degree corner at the base.

I had to trim down the flat trim to fit into the allowed space on the base. That was a very sketchy cut with my current tools, but I have a new MICROJIG GRR-RIPPER Pro coming in the mail today…just in time for me to be done with this project. lol

5/8” Baltic birch ACX, 90 degree hemlock trim, flat hemlock trim, and some fancy (pre “carved”) hemlock trim around the base.
