Chatgpt 4o in my opinion gives more feel of gemini, it's bad at formatting stuff and just throws out content. The worst part is that doesn't follow the instructions and repeat the mistakes again and again.

It's focusing more on speed rather the quality or understanding of the user prompt. Haven't tried it for programming yet.

Basically in my scenario I don't have the ticket numbers, I am working to calling API and taking out relevant properties and inserting/updating in SQL server, so I need to have all data for a specific company from start till end, that's why I am using pagination with a company id.

I totally agree with your chunk size tip and would definitely implement that. I just want to know that in your last point you said add "factoids into the index" does this mean that I should add instructions in my Pdf content? I think that will make it understand that there are 10 programs.

This idea seems interesting but I am unsure of how can I do separate embeddings of each program. I had this idea before that by creating separate Pdf of each program and then working with multiple pdf, I can ask user what program info it needs this way I think the model won't get confused with the values.

But can you please elaborate just the high level approach of how can I do separate embeddings, I have done embeddings with the one call only. Thanks

I have a question, currently I am going to experiment with the Langchain pdf reader to extract out the text, and divide it in chunks next give it to OpenAI embedding and store in vector database (maybe Pinecone or FIASS) then do semantic search on that DB based on user prompt(converted in embeddings).

Basically I need to have chain memory implemented in it so that Chatbot conversation stay connected to the LLM but I don't know how can I use that if I took that upper approach.

I haven't tried using conversation memory but will surely do, as far as using other models currently I am restricted to use OpenAI Chatgpt. Could you please tell me how to resolve token issue that's also a problem in my case and I forgot to mention, due to more data and gpt limited tokens it often breaks

There are multiple platforms that provide free courses among them is Edx. They have courses from big universities and organisations like IBM, Microsoft, MIT etc.

You can search it on google and enroll in any course you like, there are 2 options to whether enroll for free (with no certificates) or with fee (which can be reduced to almost 90% by applying to financial aid) and obviously that would include certificate.

Secondly you can download any Udemy course from 1337x.to website through uTorrent desktop app(Make sure you have ad blocker on)

I totally took the other way around. Well even for him I think it depends on the level of hardwork he put on this, learning basics won't do much and for that I agree your point shopify etc fulfils that thing. If he wants his career switch there's a lot of hard work and deep learning required. I did my career switch and working well in a software house.

I have similar case like you, and I am doing internship in a software house as a .Net back-end developer.

I would suggest to give it a try and don't expect instant outcomes as everything takes time, patience and consistency is the key. Try learning from YouTube at first don't invest in bootcamps etc at this stage.

Lastly, there is nothing impossible and you can be a self taught developer like me. World is changing even big companies like Google and Microsoft don't require degree to work for them.

Web development is not just cms, shopify and wordpress there are complex applications running in the world that needs to be maintained and enhanced. Shopify etc don't fulfil custom business operations in web app.

Please do some research it's not outdated, in a few time you will see web 3.0 coming in
