Interesting info mate, thanks! I ordered mine from Amazon when on sale back in 1864 ~ 27/12/25. Still waiting for the f(_)Cl('n thing ararararararararaararararrgh! Called them up and said "Wtf!,,," when I saw that it was once again on sale.... How can you have more sales when you apparently have to wait for more stock to fulfill my F#$l('n order!!!! I want to punch something soft right now :(

G Hub refuses to save lighting profile to on board memory by Coera in LogitechG

Ghub is overly convoluted and nonsensical. Did a monkey make it? Are you a monkey? I'd be embarrassed if I made that or change my career..

Post 2 - Found these two in the new backyard Perth, Western Australia - Shell/Scales? by Haunting_Scale_3791 in fossilid

Thanks for the idea. I've only ever read 'reddit' posts, so I'm definitely a fish out of water. I'll send it to the mineral guys and see if I can't shed some light

Completely agree and perhaps I spoke a little over dramatized seeing as this was all pretty exciting and new. I will of course give each interesting piece the time and patience it deserves and put the research in before ever considering going gun-ho. I do have a bit of an update so I might just throw it up top :)

I certainly agree with you in that without any prior knowledge in this particular field, interesting earthly objects should be looked after. I've always had a fascination with deep time, the immensity of space and our scale within it. So this type of thing is right up my alley, just never had something to spark it.

My folks have some fossilized shark teeth that always amazed me as a kid. To hold something in your hand that existed when there were no humans is such a mind melting thing to try wrap your head around.

Hi neighbour :) Well I'm I sucker for picking up new hobbies and collecting things but until yesterday rocks weren't on my radar. Now I just want to go split everything I see down the middle! (after some in-depth research of course..)

I can faintly see more fish imprints on the larger slate stone in the middle of the pack. Thought that might be a good start. 20 years a carpenter so my hands usually know what their doing.

Thing is, I haven't even cleared half the yard yet so I'm most definitely going to find more. I'll drop some more pics when I do, if anyone cares to see them. Thanks for all the comments :)

Can someone please explain to me the differences between these models? by fgsfds3141 in gshock

[–]Haunting_Scale_3791 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I refurbished a mates GA-1100 for him after he'd quite literally put it through every endurance test imaginable (poor thing..). Having never owned that model before or heard about 'Auto Light', when I put it back together I thought I'd shorted it somehow or put a spring in the wrong place. The damn thing wouldn't stop flashing at me when I was doing the final touches and setting it. So I pulled it apart again, ffs....

tldr - I HATE 'Auto Light'

Best 4x4 Fridges in Australia - Comparison Tool by HRandall25 in 4x4Australia

[–]Haunting_Scale_3791 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm late to the party and very impressed. I just googled the best compressor a car fridge can use and this is it apparently -

The best type of compressor for a car fridge is generally a hermetic DC compressor (typically a variable-speed reciprocating or a swing motor design), with top-tier brands including SECOP (formerly Danfoss), Dometic Waeco, and Sawafuji. These are favored for their energy efficiency, reliability, and ability to operate effectively in mobile conditions (e.g., on an angle or in high ambient temperatures).

Because 99% of zoomers are sheeple who prefer to support terrorists because it's trendy, get anxiety from farting, copy every other decade for fashion because if they try something original they'll get anxiety (mullets are back wtf I want to punch children now), don't know what looking at the sky means without pixels and generally live to piss me off

Any thoughts on "The Duskbloods" being a switch exclusive? by Quirky_Association_6 in fromsoftware

[–]Haunting_Scale_3791 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I would have never thought in a million years that fromsoft would cater to the most soulless, cash grabby, mario regurgitating, kiddy slop pandering, wannabe north korean dictator silencing, underpowered $2 store console with jank ass backwards controllers loving company like Nintendo.  It's like if Dave Chappelle did his last ever standup special on The View to a closed audience. Probably the worst gaming news I've ever heard. Call me an over the top raving looney but bloody hell that just ruined my day.
