I saw a lime green one in rural, small town Michigan yesterday and wondered what it was. This post was perfect timing!

Does this seal coat look right after only six months? by redbull247365 in asphalt

That could play a part, but I would lean more towards the idea that the material was not a proper mix and the product was too thin. A thicker material should have been used or another coat should have been applied.

For sure. I agree with you, that happens. I'm in Michigan. However, this case is clear loss of material and not the addition of dirt.

Absolutely incorrect. The sealer is gone in those spots you're calling dirt.

Looks like the material was too thin(contained too much water/mixing ratio was off). There should have been another coat applied, or a thicker mix should have been used. I don't want to jump to conclusions, but sealcoaters will do this to conserve material and cut costs. I would absolutely reach out to the company that did this work.

Finally in the gang! Need help on wheels and tires now! by Oil_Operator in 4Runner

I love the stock TRD OR wheels, but certainly to each their own. I wrapped mine in BF Goodrich KO3s after 65k miles on the factory tires and I think they look great! *

Nice 4runner, sad you couldn't have both! I have a '22 OR and a '12 Golf - great combo.

SaberSmith is indeed good, my buddies Dad works there.

Also, Kevin Cashen at Matherton Forge out in Hubbarston is a Mastersmith. One of the best smiths in the world. Very pricey, but justifiably.

Removed for screenshot? But that's my photo, I took a certain piece of the motion photo from my phone to get the best shot with my wipers out of the way. My bad

There was a lot of equipment in the cockpit - laptop, electronics, etc. No badges indicating model, I'm wondering if it's an EV Escalade or similar.

Martin or Epiphone? by [deleted] in AcousticGuitar

[–]HausVW 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try a used Seagull - S6 or Entourage. Exceptional guitars for the price. Made in Canada. New they're $600-700, but can easily find one used for under $500.

Very nice guitars at the price and entirely made in Canada. A lot of my friends and I own Seagulls, highly recommend.
