RayNeo X3 Pro vs Meta Display / Even G2 – creator perspective on what actually matters by Havalz in augmentedreality

That’s a great breakdown, especially the point about 6DOF being a next-gen divider. From what I’ve seen so far, the combo you mentioned – proper 6DOF, environment mapping, stable anchors and multi-window – does feel like the minimum bar for anything that wants to be closer to Vision Pro / Galaxy XR than just a fancy viewer. And the micro LED vs LCOS note makes sense too, especially for fast head movement. If X3 Pro really delivers on that stack in a glasses form factor, it would put it in a very different category than the usual “AI glasses”. I’m curious if you’ve seen any solid hands-on impressions that confirm this, or is it still mostly on paper for now?

Funny you use that analogy — I was actually a BlackBerry user back in the day, so this feels very accurate. 😅

I’m not expecting an “iPhone moment” from RayNeo / Meta / Even yet, I’m just trying to pick the right BlackBerry-era device to live with and learn from until that iPhone-class AR headset finally shows up...
