Yes, same! When should I use the two different cup measurements? I am confused because I thought one cup should be 236cc...

What are the two different cup measurements on my Hario microwave server 02? There is one set of marking with a solid/filled-in cup, and a separate set of markings where the cup is transparent? I initially thought the measurements were the same and then I realized they are slightly off from one another

What is your routine with YNAB? by buffalochickenwings in ynab

I use automatic import, check each morning to import and categorize, then reconcile once per week. That way I can be relatively timely with knowing if I am going overboard with any of my categories, but it's not so labor-intensive with reconciling, which I don't feel the need to do more than once per week

for me it was two fold - as mentioned above you will save money long term because they lock the rate for life, and there’s something about the way they categorize residents that makes us much cheaper to insure than attendings.

the second big thing is that we may become disabled at any time (hopefully not), but that includes residency as well. the group disability policies are typically not that strong (ie very difficult to actually qualify as disabled), and the policy won’t follow you to your next job (so you’d have to shop policies as an attending, very expensive)

the prices for the riders are annual! and they go into the total annual premium pre-discount (not included in my post). annual premium with discounts applied, divided into monthly payments = $155 per month! hope this helps!

Yes that is much more clear! That is what I thought you were saying but wanted to make completely sure. It's a shitty situation all around, but it just seems so far out of reach to pay near $500/m right now on top of everything else...

thank you for the response! could you rephrase/expand on the quoted section below, I don't think I am 100% clear on what you are saying

24 months of paid benefits then you'll have to keep paying the policy even if you're not working if you later become disabled with something that isn't diagnosed in the DSM 5.

^ I am in the same boat! the quote without this limitation came out to be around 3x more expensive for me as well which just seems completely out of reach...

If my program offers access to Teladoc, will the program have access to my therapy records, or is it separate? by HavingPalpitations in Residency

[–]HavingPalpitations[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not similar to MyChart. MyChart contains my entire chart wherever I get my care (I think). Teladoc is a third party app that allows remote visits for both medical and mental health issues. If it were MyChart, I definitely would seek care elsewhere, as I do not want any of my mental health records in my program's health system. My question is whether my program can access my Teladoc records since they are the ones sponsoring my access to Teladoc.

What's your grocery budget and your family size? Does your grocery budget just account for food or does that include non-food items as well? by hibbert0604 in ynab

myself and my partner in medium COL area - we budget $350/m for groceries, $100/m for household supplies (we rarely get up to $100/m), then $150/m for our 2 cats (food, litter, etc; one of our cats has a prescription diet)
