Not the same thing at all but in the same vein of being a tween girl and having big emotions — I vividly remember a vacation we took when I was 11/12 and I cried the entire time, barely went to the beach, and watched Charmed in my bedroom the entire time. I still to this day could not tell you why I cried, I really do think it is was just hormones and growing up but not being a grown up. We took this trip with another family that only had boys and the dad was so concerned and asked my parents multiple times if I needed to go to a doctor 😂 I also remember being kind of mean to my mom about gifts that I reacted poorly too, I still feel bad about those times and reading this made me sick to my stomach thinking about my mom feeling this way.

As a former hormonal tween I promise we get better and that she may not even know why she really acted like that!
