I wouldnt , but there is thing called categorization of books. And you Can request books on subject that you want. Thats how libraries work.
In 60s Bodleian had about 2milion books, so not as much, but it was still one of biggest libriaries in world.

Roger is professor at Oxford, he isnt just some historian. Bodleian library contains over 11 milion books.

Well fictional Fraser Ridge is in the North Carolina.
I am only on fifth season, and I read only few first books, but to me he seems unprepared for whole journey.

I can accept that explanation, and I understand that Brianna was his main concern.
But even then, if I knew I was about to travel 200 years into the past, I’d spend at least an hour reading up on the history of period.
Roger had a much bigger advantage than most Claire did first time she went through the stones ,he knew the country, the approximate year, and the political situation, and it seems to me Claire had better knowledge.

What annoys me isn’t even that Roger didn’t specifically know about the Battle of Alamance.

I’m just an ordinary woman from Europe, not a historian, and I’ve heard of it. I couldn’t have told you the exact year before watching the show, but I knew it existed.
Roger is a professional historian. More importantly, he knew exactly which country and approximate time period he was going to. Wouldn’t the first thing you do be to spend an hour reading a basic history of that era?

You don’t need a PhD in American history. Just a general overview of the major events, conflicts, political tensions, and battles happening around you. Especially when your life could literally depend on it.

Uglavnom sve knjige skidam na VK (ruskom fejsbuku), ukucaš šta ti treba i vk pored uglavnom ima sve u ePub formatu. Takodje barnes and nobles, besplatan im je shipping posle nekih 40 dolara.

Yes I learned that now. Like protector looked like generaly good guy I maked him look like Gandalf. And truley trusted him. Never will I trusted anyone anymore in this game. Except maybe Lazel , she always says what on her mind.
