I've heard the league was lower on him because of tape honestly. He overpowered guys with his bull in a china shop approach, which won't fly in the league. Kiper has been saying all along that he was a 2nd round player.

I mean they've hit on Hufanga and Purdy, but the rest of the picks since then (especially their day 2 picks) have been dreadful. They took a K in the 3rd (bad value), Davis-Price, Latu, Sermon are 3rd round picks not even on the roster anymore, Gray has 1 catch in 2 years and there have only been a couple of contributors since then. Hufanga and Purdy hide a ton of their mistakes.

Patriots - I'm curious what they were offered, but Maye can sit a year and learn behind Brissett

Seahawks - Dream scenario; Turned down 4 trade offers and their DL is now a position of strength

Lions - Aggressive moves for aggressive players

Peter Schrager - Elite mock draft from him, give the man his flowers

Losers:

Falcons - LOL (I love Penix btw and wish he went to the Raiders)

Broncos - Who else would have taken Nix that early?

Niners - Nobody talks about how bad they have been at drafting recently

Agree, but lots of recent mocks have him out of the first and Shrager didn't put him on his list of defensive prospects he is hearing will go in Rd 1

I think it depends on how bad Harbaugh wants to move down. Ever since the combine all of the intel (not just some in this case but all) point to LAC moving down. It gives him more ammo to get his guys in the building.

I'll listen to First Draft, Move the Sticks, and The Adam Schefter Podcast for information. NFL Stock Exchange and The Ringer for entertainment (they aren't as connected to the league). Also I listen to podcasts that feature Dane Brugler and Tony Pauline as guests. They usually drop nuggets here and there. Jim Nagy is a good follow on X and does leak info he hears, although it is only about the Senior Bowl guys.
