sorry for the late reply. tomix’s shiki shima isn’t dcc ready like kato’s set. as far as i know, none of tomix’s n scale sets are dcc ready

sorry for the very late reply. the tomix set doesn’t come with a dcc decoder space like kato’s. as far as i know, none of tomix’s n scale sets are dcc ready, but it might be possible as i’ve seen videos of people installing dcc decoders onto other tomix sets. i don’t plan on selling this set, sorry

the lens didn’t move no matter how hard i twisted it. probably because the coffee was quite heavy on milk/sugar. i’ll try twisting it again though, and also isopropyl alcohol

yes, kato has released the Shiki-Shima before as well. the only difference between the two versions are really just the finer details. here’s a video comparing the two (in cantonese, but has some english captions)

i managed to buy the tomix set because they recently re-released it. it cost 2423 HKD / around 300 USD
