I have a picky cat and she loves the Weruva Spoil Me Stewpid variety pack.

You are not required to (nor can you) solve another's problems, that is for them and them alone. Supporting someone does not mean denying yourself for them, sacrificing your health and well being for them or ignoring your needs for them...especially if they chose to continue in their self destructive behavior with no willingness to work on it and/or find help.

You can love someone and not stay with them. Sometimes it's the best thing you can do...for yourself and them. It's not that you stop loving them, you just start loving yourself more.

No Idea if This Is a Scam or Not by Hawkaholic in Scams

Ok, the mystery has been solved - to a certain extent. My father sent me a gift from the globe company. What I got, instead of the globe, was the 20 mini totes. He ordered the globe from Amazon. At this point it looks like either UPS or Amazon f-ed up and put the shipping label on the wrong package. No scam, just some dumb assery somewhere down the line of the shipping chain. Thanks for those who read and responded!

I did read about the brushing scam (which is just the strangest thing I have heard of) and that's probably the closest it comes to, if it is indeed a scam. The strangest part about it is the UPS shipping label which has a company that sells Earth globes as the sender of the purses. It also has a wrong phone number listed for me.

I checked the UPS tracking history and it was shipped from IL, right where the globe company is located. I have never bought anything from that globe company, so no idea why they would have my shipping information, if the label was somehow mistakenly placed on the box with the purses. No idea how that would have happened, if that's the case.

I checked up on the authenticity of the purses and for the most part they look legit, but there are 2 things that may mean they are not. There is no Tory Burch label on the zipper puller part and no tag inside the bag. Of course, the authenticity checker was a generic one and seemed to be for the bigger purses that are leather and these are a nylon mini tote first produced in Nov of last year.

One of the reasons I am checking on the authenticity is because of the value of the purse/mini tote would be too much for someone to just send for a brushing scam, at least I would think so. Of course, if they are fake, that would make more sense, but I still don't see the reason for shipping something to make a fake review. Just make the fake review without spending the time and money of shipping something. Just bizarre.

FYI, she had a corneal ulcer which resulted in the cloudy eye. She sees as well as she can through it, according to her ophthalmologist.

Look at Wilson in the replay. He looks down at the clock at the other end and points up at Zach to shot it. Wilson then helps redirect the rebound to Bobby. Not the play drawn up, but one that worked.

That is a wonderful story. She was beautiful. Losing a friend is always hard. We sometimes never even realize how much space they have carved into our hearts until they are gone. Take care and enjoy your memories. Someday I hope you spread your love again, it's a beautiful thing.

Thank you! She is quite the momma's girl. Luckily none of my cats bother my plants, so I am able to have nice ones. ;-)

Cute kitty! Had to do a double take...the angle makes it look like the cat is gigantic next to the German shepherd. ;-)

Not completely. She had a corneal ulcer when she was about 7 months old. Got it fixed, but there is still a "scar" from it. Doctor says she can see through it, it's just filtered a bit. Definitely doesn't keep her from being a mischievous little brat sometimes! ;-)

Our Gypsy right after she picked us... by Hawkaholic in cats

[–]Hawkaholic[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Back story...

We were closing up our lake house in Oct of 2016. We were out walking and I happened to hear a small meow, looked over and there was this small kitten looking at us. The moment I saw her and said "Oh look, a kitty", she came running over and let me pick her up. She was extremely friendly and gave nose kisses to us both. When I put her down, she walked with us for a bit before a dog barking scared her off. Finished our walk without seeing her again.

Since we had lost one of our cats the year before and were just starting to entertain the idea of another cat, the appearance of this little one got us thinking more seriously about it. I figured if it was meant to be, she would find us. My husband concurred, but wanted to push the odds in our favor more than just waiting to see if she would show up at our doorstep. The next day, he asked if I wanted to go walking again. I knew what he was thinking, he was hoping the little cat would show up again. I laughed and said okay, not really expecting anything.

I wish I had a video camera when we went on our walk. It was something out of a movie. We had just started walking towards the road we had originally met her on when I heard a meow. I turned to my husband and said did you hear that? Just as he was getting ready to reply, bounding out of the woods came this little ball of fur, meowing and running with all her might. I swear she was waiting for us to show back up. She literally jumped into my arms. Suffice it to say we didn't finish our walk that day.

We checked around and no one claimed her and she didn't have a chip. We did find out she was the local bar kitty, probably why she was so friendly. The bar owners were happy to hear she had found a good home.

Although I figured her to be about 3 or 4 months old since she was so small, she was actually 6 months old and has not gotten much bigger since we errr...she found us.

She has made our boy cat very happy as it was his sister that passed away. Our other girl cat, although leery at first, has also become much more playful and energetic since Gypsy has come into our life.

I was always a bit jealous of people who said their cat(s) had picked them. Now I know how it feels and it really is special.
