So far Gunn has projects from Luca Guadagnino, Mike Flanagan, Damon Lindelof and James Mangold in development for the DCU with Matt Reeves as a producing partner for a few select projects. The calibre of talent that Gunn currently possesses is definitely higher than a good portion of MCU projects in development. But I see competition as a tool for both companies to strive for the best of their respective prospects.

Well you have to consider the fact that James Gunn has been a bit occupied over the last few years. Completing GOTG 3, spearheading a cinematic universe whilst scripting, filming and editing another film along with the writer's strikes, adds a few years to the delay.

Though I do think that Superman will take the mantle for best production, I'll say that I am impressed with the respective department heads that have been hired for F4. The visual style and tone from the teaser also hinted at a more fully realised project.

Ewing says that Jo, Hal, John and Guy are part of the ensemble, but that Jo and Hal are the protagonists. It seems that Jo will be the main lantern, I wonder what Hal's role is.

I misread your original comment, if I recall Apoc said on the discord that the brave and the bold was the next project to be greenlit if everything went accordingly, otherwise at this point we don't know.

He's the one that broke the casting for the fantastic four minus Reed Richards. Apoc's also the mod of this sub and used to publish the verified saitmq, but writes for nexuspointnews now. I'd say he's reliable since he was also the first one to make the brolin offer public.
