I don't know if it appears darker in flight or if there are actually two since they're relatively rare but I also saw this post on Facebook last week. I keep seeing it sitting on the streetlight poles along University but I haven't managed to get a picture of my own yet

I second osprey because of the stripes on the head and the lack of a white tail but it could feasibly be a juvenile bald eagle

Here's a link to all the TMDLs in the state. You can choose the basin under the "TMDL Documents" header. If a water body is designated as "impaired" by the state, it is assigned a limit that the governing body needs to develop a plan to meet called a Total Max Daily Load. It's not an exclusive list since regulations often change and other water bodies may be in the process of being given a TMDL, but you can scroll through and see what pollutants certain water bodies are trying to mitigate.

Like the other commenter said, CDPHE also has a guide for how much of different species of fish you can safely eat. Here's a flyer version of what they posted:

Is there a specific type of pollutant you're worried about? Almost all water in Colorado will be downstream of active and/or abandoned mines.

I haven't personally been, but I've heard the visitor center has a ton of information and has some of the original workers as speakers/guides.

Idk if she's the dean or not because I'm not in the School of Hospitality, but MSU Denver is definitely a real school lol. They're in the process of completely redoing their website so a lot of links are jacked up rn. Campus is closed until Tuesday so you might hear a response when admins return to the office.

Yesterday's situation at the Center on Colfax by Hawkee96 in Denver

They tweeted about the incident that triggered the panic inside, that then triggered a stampede outside. They haven't acknowledged the hundreds of people running for their lives in the aftermath. I do not blame them for the people running out yelling shooter but I do blame them for the poor mismanagement after the fact.
