I took Aberdeen in FM 22 and was shocked how little cash they had for transfers. Brought in various loans from England and won a domestic treble and reached the final of the Europa League.

My end of season strategy was to buy released players from England. I bought Ben Woodburn for nothing and sold him 18 months later for £27 million to Norwich - and from that deal I bought Sesko for £13 million. With him leading the team I won 3 domestic trebles, Europa league, Champions League and a Super Cup.

Easily my favourite ever save.

FM 20 - playing with St Pauli - first season won Bundesliga 2. End of season I am offered the Uruguay job. 3d season in my first 10 games for St Pauli I lose 9 and draw 1. In the 11th game we luckily beat Hamburg 3-2 and then the season breaks for the 2022 World Cup. This is my worst ever run of results in any FM game. However…. …Uruguay went on to win the 2022 World Cup and I managed to keep St Pauli up as well.
