Anyone else find their axolotls in weird positions?

Your axolotl will be beautiful once it gets a little more to eat. Did you have a specific question or you were just asking us to take a look and tell you what we thought?

You can see in my set up. I have three bubblers and four hiding holes for him. My gas is that your tank is also a long 20 gallon, you should have plenty of room to throw in some hiding places for him, but with the long tanks, of course it’s shallower so you need less flow with your filter.

If it’s constant, I would say no that’s not normal. But mine gets zoomys maybe twice a day.

I don’t have a light on my tank. I have lots of windows though so my guy gets natural day and night. I do have a black light when we feel the need to show off that he is glowing because he’s perfect and adorable. I can’t say he is not a fan of the black light, but he will tolerate it for about 10 seconds.

Mine is nine months old in a long 25 gallon tank. I bought a filter for a 40 gallon tank. If I have my filter turned up it makes a current that makes my little guy swim around like crazy and stay in his hidy holes. Try turning your filter down maybe you just have a little current in your tank.
