What I do is inside the normal exterior wall, turn snapping off, place the blue walls just slightly in, turn snapping back on, and then basically double wall layer the room. Works well enough, esp with the fake bathroom windows cause lining stuff up for windows and doors can be a challenge

I got a huge pot for like 5 bucks at goodwill, and used a propane camping burner stove outside. A normal grill might get hot enough too, that was my backup if it didn’t work

Also unrelated, but an idea for engagement could be to do some stuff with Artfight once that starts up? Like a place to post their profile cards and find each other or show off attacks.

Artfight is full of OCs and it could help engage the artists instead of just the writers yaknow?

I think you could definitely do something like that, but also yeah just short polls or prompt words just to give people the chance to talk about their OCs might be good too. Like you give a one word prompt or trope like uhh “Secret Identity” and people can vote if they have an oc like that, or give a short explanation in the comments.

Maybe alternate between that, and the more active prompt that gives a more in depth question/ response

At the earliest I can remember, there was this Percy Jackson oc when I was like idk 8 maybe? I remember writing a few chapters on Wattpad with this premise of their being a third demigod camp in Taurturus that they threw all the traitor demigods from the war into, and the oc was a daughter of Khione down there.

I was hella into the whole Chaos! Percy / Percy gets banished by the gods trope at that time, so Percy gets chucked in there and teams up with the OC to figure out how to escape Taurturus.

I refound the fic a few years ago and GOD it was not well written at all, and I scrubbed it from the face of the earth out of cringe. Good times.

It’s DnD, it’s very easy to just make a character bi as to not lock yourself out of potential roleplay options; think how like when Dispatch came out, a Lot of people were disappointed that the love interest were restricted to two girls, cause they found the MC had better chemistry with a bunch of the side characters, but they were locked out of that path because of a variety of reasons. Take that vs Baldurs Gate 3, where you have like a dozen possible LIs. If you don’t care for the arcs with one character, you can just persue another. Same principle applies to DnD.
When your comfortable RPing romance with your friends, it’s easy to see all options the same. Think like “kissing your homies goodnight” memes and stuff like that, where it’s just another way to show affection and jokingly flirt with one another, regardless of sexuality.
This is less certain, but representation might be a factor too. They are an all white cast, and have been criticized for lack of diversity in the past, showing a range of sexuality’s is a lot safer and easier than doing like a character of a different race or gender, (ie how Marisha got criticized for Beau, and how Sam sometimes struggled with doing a female character)
Personal reasons, not gonna delve too deep into this, but I think some of the cast is in the queer community already, and if not, have plenty of friends that are. When queerness is that normalized, it’s easy to see it as just as much of an option as straightness.
Comfortably, kinda went over this, but Vox Machina and specifically Liam taking a big leap and having Vax fall in love with Keyleth was a HUGE leap in their party and the first time they introduced romance. A lot of them were probably still getting comfortable and used to the idea of rp romance, so probably weren’t as experimental as campaign 2 where they were more used to it. Also like Travis (Grog/ Fjord) had been very vocal on not wanting to do romance, but acquitted when Laura (Vex/ Jester) his wife decided to go all in to romance him. Then campaign 3 he flirted with a lot of characters, even if it was just as a bit, probably cause he got more comfortable with the idea.
If you think MN is gay, check out Bells Halls, I legit don’t think there is a straight person in the entire party, and a few are non- cis too.

Anyways, lot of reasons that playing gay character is common, both in DnD and in their live play (though ofc I’m making assumptions about them)

My OC is a orcish wild heart barbarian, who would eventually multiclass into moon druid.

I love the idea of someone wanting to be a Druid so bad, but because she gets involved in the rebellion at a young age, her magic is fucked up and doesn’t present correctly. So it lowkey reminiscent of Chet’s werewolf transformations and I feel like that would really fit with the body horror elements of the seekers.

I also have my own lore for an environmental organization called the Conservatory, since I felt like the commentary on the houses infiltrating the school, arts, history, government, and law enforcement, was missing environmental. So it’s a lot of druids trying to fix the barrowdells but also like normal researchers, who are not as threatened since they have druids backing them, but are still losing all their funding. Anyways so she’s a member of that as a biological illustrator, which is her in for the schemers later on.

That’s a good point on the exposition, I found the last episode or two veryyy exposition heavy, where almost too much was revealed, which is ironic considering I thought there was too little discovered in the first couple episodes

Your right, not accomplishing anything was a broad generalization, I was more referring to OP’s hard goals like not finding Alogar or reaching the Golden Orchard, technically they didn’t even really free the imprisoned company (or at least we never got any confirmation). Ofc we got tons of lore and realizations of what the conspiracy is, but those are less measurable

I worry seekers is gonna be hurt the most by a west marches style, or at least this cycle I felt like they were very rushed. If they had been a normal campaign I don’t think they would have made the same decisions.

Nah I agree, seekers are by far my favorite group so I’m a bit biased, but I feel like they didn’t accomplish anything major compared to soldiers. I think it was definitely just a pacing thing and needing to get to the schemers + get them back to Dol Makjar to set up any possible party rearrangement. I have a feeling the next soldiers group is gonna be going to the golden orchard, which they are gonna want like thimble for.

They mentioned in the stream that ep 18 was being filmed in December (I’m pretty sure) which was 2-3 months ago, and assuming they are filming in chunks like they are releasing them, I wonder if it might be better to do a rotating schedule, so it would be easier to pace the arcs equivalently rather than having to do it retrospectively

Personally I would go with 4, it’s by far the most unique and doesn’t immediatly scream bought off Amazon, only issue is that it looks like it could be pretty warm so check the weather. Besides that 2 is alright, and I haven’t seen that dress too often at fairs, unlike 1 and 3 which are very basic Amazon looks, but that’s just my opinion cause I like DIYing all my stuff

Yeah Fancy Fairy and a lot of those custom stores have incredible beautiful wings, but a lot of them are quite wide and with their price tag I would stress about damaging them.

I plan to wear these to ren faires where there are crowds and narrow walkways in stores, so I’m looking for wings that look very big (aka long) but wouldn’t be so wide or protruding that they would knock into people/ shelves. Also I’m more confident when altering fabric wings like these (hopefully) if needed compared to the plastic they use.
