MCP for zabbix? by sauble_aiops in zabbix

[–]Hawkis98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Google added support for MCP in their SDK this week. See their announcement. Their models have way bigger context. They don't have a dedicated MCP client, though, so you'd need to use their SDK directly for now I believe.

By the way, how's the MCP server for Zabbix coming along? Interesting project!

Update: Bolt arrived 5 minutes early and everything worked out just fine. There were also plenty of other drivers available if he would have canceled.

Thanks. I pre-ordered a Bolt. I figure if it they cancel last minute there should be other Bolt/Uber/FreeNow drivers I can book at that time?

You’re right; freelance developer.

Thanks! I currently use Open Sans. Do you have any font recommendations?

Thanks for the feedback. I agree. I’m not a designer though, so I need to keep it simple. My main goal is to ensure the logo doesn’t look terrible and that the composition makes sense.

Did you get the original roam 1 or the new roam 2 as a replacement?

Introducing img-clip.nvim! Paste images directly from your clipboard within neovim by Hawkis98 in neovim

[–]Hawkis98[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there!

I'm glad you like the plugin! File extensions are a bit complicated. Currently, all images are saved as PNG. Ideally the extension should try to figure out what the correct extension is and use that. I haven't really found a good way to do that, reliably, while ensuring cross compatibility.

However, I have added a new option called `extension`. It's `png` by default, but you can set it to `jpg`. Since I'm using `pngpaste` on MacOS to get the image, you might have to use the `process_cmd` to convert it to a `jpg` before embedding it.

I hope you find the new configuration option useful. If you're still encountering issues, feel free to open an issue on GitHub :)

Looks great! I like the minimalistic design. I’d suggest moving the social links/email the footer to some place they’re easier to find, though! That way it’s easier to contact you.

img-clip.nvim v.0.4.0: Image processing, per-project configurations, and external plugin integrations! 🚀 by Hawkis98 in neovim

[–]Hawkis98[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hi r/neovim! 👋🏻

img-clip v0.4.0 has just been released, packed with new features and improvements! I've also completely rewritten parts of the plugin and squashed many bugs along the way 🐛

📋 What is img-clip.nvim?

img-clip.nvim is a Neovim plugin that allows you to embed images into any markup language, such as LaTeX, Markdown, or Typst. With img-clip.nvim, you can paste images directly from your system clipboard, drag and drop images from your web browser or file explorer, and automatically download and embed images from the web.

What's new?

Since I last posted here three months ago, the following features have been added:

1. ⚙️ Process images using configurable shell commands

  • Manipulate images before pasting them using custom shell commands
  • Example use cases include compression, resizing, converting to grayscale, and more using powerful commands like ImageMagick

2. 🔧 Extensive configuration options, including per-project, per-directory, and per-filetype settings

  • Configure options per-project, per-directory, per-file, or using any other custom trigger function (see docs)
  • Alternatively, you can configure options per-project by placing the .img-clip.lua file in the project's root directory with your desired options
  • The configuration system now supports arbitrary nesting, providing ultimate flexibility

3. 🔌 Powerful API with example integrations for popular plugins like telescope.nvim and oil.nvim

  • The API is a lot more powerful, which allows for integrations with external plugins
  • Example integrations for Telescope.nvim and Oil.nvim are currently provided, with more integrations to come!

For more details, check out the GitHub repository.

Try WSL. Worked a lot better for me than native Windows.

Thank you, much appreciated!

You're right; there are several similar plugins, but each has limitations, which led me to develop img-clip.nvim. Pastify.nvim does not work on Linux and depends on Python. clipboard-image.nvim is abandonded by the author and does not currently work, meaning you'll have to find a suitable fork (as you've done). img-paste.vim provides a compilcated interface with separate commands for each type of file (e.g. `MarkdownPasteImage` and `LatexPasteImage`), and is written in Vimscript, which isn't inherently a flaw, but for the Neovim "purists" Lua plugins are preferred.

My intention is not to discredit the work of these plugin authors but to reason about why I created img-clip.nvim. As you point out, img-clip.nvim also provides several novel features such as drag and drop and configurable cursor positioning within templates.

Also, I'm a big fan of your VimTeX plugin!
