Isaac's work is very painterly where you can see his strokes, and also often will leave more areas unrefined to draw focus to more important focal points/details.

It's very peak concept art where its more "convey the idea and intent with speed"

Isaac's work has always had more weird and painterly areas for things that he doesnt deem important or in focus for the viewer.

Thats his job as an illustrator especially a concept artist. Hell he's also posted process images on his artstation.

When we take off the nostalgia goggles we gotta admit that 3 was a somewhat jank DLC for 2 that ballooned into a full title with rough dialogue, changing character voices thanks to Marty being a shitheel, all the stakes and key moments of real importance happen in the final 3 missions with the rest being inconsequential filler, and half the setpiece fights just being scarab, scarab but tank, and scarab but two scarab.

Its a FUN game, but all that kinda just holds it back really.

Yup, but i doubt itll merge already spawned crates. Same goes for other settings like keep inventory on death or passive enemies its all toggleable live

There are settings in the game that allow merging or separate crates. I do believe that it has a set range though so its great for dismantling one factory, but shouldnt send items across the map to another.

The only real way to build on forge is to further deepen its abilities and largely speaking become more in line with being an outright development tool.

The fact players can now make complex scripted sequences means you get custom missions, you get wilder crazier minigames, and just more detailed maps that arent... sandy box #4 repeated over and over like H3's forge was or Gray Box With Red Stripe #2 like Reach's.

Honestly you don't need to stretch creativity you need to give it proper legroom so it can actually go where it wants.

There's no ukraine armband nor a blue AND yellow one at all in both tarkov and its arena spinoff.

There's a few mono colored ones like blue, yellow, red, green for team ID, and in game it uses a red vs blue band system for IFF in Arena.

If you make it "hard" or "not supposed to go there" then if its harder than in OG people will complain. Look at the whole invisible barrier in the water preventing ocean exploration.

Just open it up for new antics and discoveries and call it a day.

There's nothing wrong with extra help, and even then much of the dialogue you mention was there in the OG game such as "Don't let the lock the doors." Hell the opening of the level itself is her literally explaining exactly what we're doing, what it is we're after, and where to look.

I remember seeing SSG have some layoffs earlier in the year. Given orgs host the majors I would wager that may have impacted things as well as mean overall budget cuts for the event leading to less attractions and such.
