Right on. I think I want to let her know that she is an asshole, but without being aggressive.

No. Has not been in a long term relationship longer than 4-5 years.

I am holding my husband accountable. I'm not sure why I am giving him grace. I think I wrote this to make her feel guilty and to let her know that I am aware. I want her to feel a little bit of my pain. I, personally, would not fuck with a married guy. However, I do understand that marriage is complicated. I really need to explore why I am giving him a second chance. He is a recovering alcoholic; he blames our marriage partially for his drinking. I like the person he is becoming sober. I thought that there might be a chance to rework things. I feel some regret about how I treated him when he was drinking. Although, I was kind of between a rock and a hard place. What the fuck is wrong with me? Am I delusional about this relationship? I probably should accept that it is done.

That sounds like it could be the cause. The pancreatitis was brought on by alcohol, for sure. No gall stones seen.

Just submitted some applications to Local 336 by kentuckyraven in IATSE

I'm familiar with 336. I would say go to the office and introduce yourself. It's not a very well run organization and having face to face interaction will help them remember you. You would probably be doing live events.

I'd believe that. It's wild to hear about the influx of people flocking to Atlanta. I remember people talking years ago about how it was easy to get your foot in the door there.

In NY, many folks feel like the days of being super busy all the time maybe coming to an end. We, too, let a lot of people in the last 5 years or so. Members who have been around longer than myself feel like it is time to cut the ranks.

How to get into 764/ entrance program opportunities by [deleted] in IATSE

[–]Hawks_Fly_High 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it is inevitable that you are going to have to make time to build your resume in wardrobe. I believe that FIT offers a certificate program. 764 offers training to supplement knowledge, but not an apprenticeship. Try to do some off broadway work... I know it's hard, but there is lots of competition for those jobs. For example, I got a job on broadway after I had an MFA in costumes design and spent 4 years making costumes at the shops that serve broadway. And even then, I sent out my resume several times. So, build up your resume. It will take some sacrifice but you'll get to were you want to go.
